Keith Pulvermacher

about

Keith Andrew Pulvermacher was born August 22, 1972 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Jeff and Maureen Pulvermacher. He started his music career at an early age being born into a very musical family. Keith’s dad, Jeff, had a band and played in the church choir. Keith began playing guitar at seven years old after some beginner lessons from his father and started taking formal lessons when he was ten years old. Inspired by the blues, jazz, old R&B, rock, folk, country, and pop music, Keith was moved by any music that had good riffs, heavy grooves, great lyrics, and strong melodic hooks. Eager to begin performing, he started playing with the church choir at age twelve and joined his first band at fifteen years old. In between trying to keep his grades up and playing out in bars Keith started writing music when he was sixteen and decided that music was the road he needed to follow. He quit his job working on a receiving dock to go on tour when he was twenty-four to follow his musical path full time. Keith has played over 3000 gigs from Milwaukee, to New York, from L.A to London, from Nashville to Jamaica. Keith has recorded on hundreds of tracks working with Grammy award winning artists. He also understands music is not limited to labels and trophies and can be created everywhere by everybody. Keith is still driven by good riffs, heavy grooves, great lyrics, and strong melodic hooks no matter where they come from. Keith is an experienced recording and solo artist, first call session player, songwriter, producer, teacher, and now record publisher looking to continue to grow and to help others grow musically and personally.
